Gordon made 20 appearances in the Championship with Wimbledon

Lincoln City are set to sign winger Michael Gordon until the end of the season after a successful trial.

The 25-year-old played for Wimbledon and Swindon and has most recently been with Ryman League side Merstham.

Imps manager Chris Sutton told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We've had him for a short while and he's been impressive.

"I think he'll bring us something a little bit different. We were short in the wide right position and I'm confident he'll do well."

Gordon, who has been given the number 31 shirt, goes straight into the Imps squad for Saturday's League Two game at home to Cheltenham.

But he is ineligible to play in the FA Cup after being cup-tied in an earlier round with Merstham.
