Lincoln would be set for a six-figure compensation fee if N'Guessan leaves
Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson has said his playing budget for next season will be cut, despite the club being due a substantial amount through transfers.
The Imps will profit from a number of deals including Lee Frecklington's move to Peterborough and Dany N'Guessan's expected move to a bigger club.
Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We lost money this season through going out of cup competitions early.
"My budget's smaller but I think I'll be one of many managers saying that."
He added: "We will have one or two windfalls but we need a good cup run next season.
"But I'm not complaining, I know the score and I'll get on with it."
