Teenage forward Paris Simmons has joined Lincoln City on a month's loan from Championship side Derby County, with a view to a permanent move.
The left-sided player, 19, made his debut for the Rams against Reading on the final day of last season.
This season he has spent November on loan at Blue Square Premier leaders Burton Albion, playing twice.
Imps manager Peter Jackson told the club's website: "He's quick, he runs at people and he can score a goal."
"We have bought him in for a month but it's also with a view to next season. He's been told that he can leave Derby so we could have a real find on our hands," added Jackson.
Simmons has been added to the Imps squad for Tuesday's match against Wycombe.
