Lincoln City boss Peter Jackson says he does not regret talking up his team's chances at the start of the season.
Before the campaign the Imps boss said: "I have a special squad and make no mistake about it we are in for one very special season.
Lincoln are currently 19th in the table having won only one game this season against Barnet.
Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "I don't regret the comments, I have said them now and I am a positive person."
"There are 40 games to play not four or 14.
"With the squad of players I've got once we start playing well and start picking up points I am sure we will be up there."
Lincoln City are away at sixth-placed Brentford on Saturday.
