Lincoln City captain Scott Kerr has agreed to stay at Sincil Bank for another two years.
The 26-year-old was one of a group of out-of-contract players who were offered new deals this summer.
The midfielder, whose began his career at Bradford City, has made more than 100 league appearances for the Imps since joining in 2005.
Kerr told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "I am more than happy to sign for two years and extend my stay at Lincoln."
He added: "The gaffer [Peter Jackson] is a good manager and he aims high all the time.
"He wants promotion for Lincoln City this season, not from the play-offs, from the top three.
"I am looking forward to coming back and Rotherham away on 9 August."
