Aston Villa and Derby County will visit Sincil Bank in July

Lincoln City will face Premier League side Aston Villa in a pre-season friendly at Sincil Bank on Tuesday, 15 July (kick-off 1945 BST).

Villa, who finished sixth in the top flight last season, are likely to field a strong side with their Intertoto Cup campaign starting the weekend after.

The Imps also host Derby County, who finished bottom of the Premier League, on Saturday, 26 July.

Their traditional meeting with Lincoln United takes place on Sunday, July 20.

The annual clash, which is usually played at the Whites' Ashby Avenue ground, will be the centrepiece of the Imps' community day at Sincil Bank.
