Lincoln City are to establish a separate board to take care of junior football at Sincil Bank.

The Imps' youth policy has already had an impact, with 10 first team players last season coming through the ranks.

City director Chris Travers told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "We see this as an important way forward.

"If we can produce home-grown players it will give a local flavour which the fans will like, and also a chance to sell them on to raise revenue."
