Lincoln City striker Ben Wright believes he has come to terms with the demands of playing in League Two.
The 27-year-old joined the Imps last summer after a spell in Norway with Viking FK, IK Start and Moss FC and is their joint top-scorer on 14.
He told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It's not easy, it's physical so I have had to develop that part of my game and be a bit more stronger.
"Hopefully with a good pre-season behind me I can kick on from this."
Imps assistant manager Iffy Onuora said: "He's getting there and he is doing the ugly stuff that centre-forwards have to do."
The German-born striker began his career in non-league football with Kettering, Basingstoke and Woking.
Lincoln defender Adie Moses said: "He has beaten centre-halves up this season. He has all the attributes to go on and do well for himself."
