Onuora is in charge of City while Peter Jackson is treated for cancer

Lincoln City assistant manager Iffy Onuora has welcomed news that the Imps' board are planning to raise money through selling shares in the club.

City are expected to call a meeting of shareholders to agree to a special resolution to release shares.

Onuora told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "The financial clout of the bigger clubs in the division can be a factor.

"So any money that comes in and helps us attract players from a higher league is all well and good."
