Jackson not in a rush over deals
Peter Jackson
Jackson has yet to sign a player on a permanent deal for Lincoln City
Lincoln City manager Peter Jackson says no new deals will be signed with players whose contracts are set to expire until the end of the season.

Eight of the Imps' current squad are out of contract in the summer.

That list includes Mark Stallard, Jamie Forrester and captain Scott Kerr as well as Adie Moses and Gary Croft.

Jackson told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "Decisions will be made before then but there will be no new deals signed before the summer."

Jackson, who is about to take a break from the club to undergo treatement for cancer, added: "A lot of decisions will be taken on the phone if I am well enough to have meetings."

Lincoln goalkeeper Alan Marriott, who could be in line for a testimonial if he gets a new deal, says he is hoping to stay at the club but admits he is uncertain about his future.

"I want to stay here but at the end of the day that decision is out of my hands."
