McDonald was sacked as Carlisle boss after just one game this season |
Neil McDonald has signed an extended contract to continue as assistant manager at Lincoln City. The former Carlisle boss arrived at Sincil Bank in early November as number two to manager Peter Jackson.
He has now put pen to paper on a contract which keeps him at the League Two club until the summer of 2009.
"The combination of Peter and Neil gives us, in my opinion, the best management team in the Football League," chairman Steff Wright said.
