Lincoln have signed out-of-contract Scarborough pair Colin Cryan and Scott Kerr on two-year contracts. However, the Seasiders will demand fees for the pair because of their ages - so their compensation could be determined by a transfer tribunal.
Midfielder Kerr, 23, joined Boro from Hull in 2003 and has won international recognition in the National Game XI.
Former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Cryan, 24, arrived from Sheffield United last summer.
Both players rejected new deals at the McCain Stadium.
