Thornton is the latest player to sign a new deal at Orient
Leyton Orient midfielder Sean Thornton has signed a new one-year contract with the League One club with the option of a further year.
The Irishman's deal means that all the players offered new contracts by the O's this summer will stay at the club.
Orient boss Geraint Williams told the club's website: "We're delighted that Sean has signed his new contract.
"The fact that everyone offered a new deal has signed shows they believe in the ambition we have for the club."
Thornton has been at Brisbane Road since the summer of 2007 when he joined from Doncaster.
The 26-year-old was loaned out to Shrewsbury Town at the start of the 2008/09 season when Martin Ling was still in charge but fought his way back into the O's first team under new manager Geraint Williams.
He has scored four goals in 68 games for Orient and joins Scott McGleish, Andrew Cave-Brown and Loick Pires in signing new deals at the club this summer.
