Leyton Orient have signed versatile Tottenham youngster Charlie Daniels on a season-long loan. The 20-year-old, who can play at left midfield or left-back, came on as a half-time substitute in Saturday's pre-season friendly against Grays.
"The left-sided positions were ones that needed strengthening," boss Martin Ling told Orient's website.
"Spurs value him as one for the future - he has just signed a new two-year contract with them."
Daniels has not yet played for Tottenham's first team, but had a loan spell at Chesterfield last season which was cut short by injury.
