Leicester City assistant Derek Fazackerley admits out-of-favour striker Matt Fryatt is "frustrated" but says he has not demanded to leave.

Fryatt, 24, has been linked with a move to join former Foxes boss Nigel Pearson at Championship rivals Hull City.

Fazackerley told BBC Radio Leicester: "I don't think Matty's expressed any desire to leave.

"But he is probably a little bit frustrated that he isn't getting as much football as he would like."

Hull were also linked with Fryatt last season and Fazackerley did not deny fresh talk of interest from the Tigers.

"Nigel Pearson and Steve Walsh would know him very well and it would probably be a surprise if he wasn't linked with a move to Hull," Fazackerley said.

Fryatt was suspended when Sven-Goran Eriksson took over as manager on 3 October but has only started two matches since then.
