Leicester City defender Patrick Kisnorbo will be out for six to eight weeks after picking up a knee injury in the 3-0 FA Cup win over Stevenage.
The Australian only returned to action in October after being sidelined by another knee injury in April.
He had to leave the pitch after just five minutes of Saturday's win at the Walkers Stadium.
Manager Nigel Pearson told BBC Radio Leicester: "It's not the same knee but it is unfortunate for us and Paddy."
Strikers Paul Dickov and DJ Campbell both made comebacks from injury in the final 12 minutes of the FA Cup first round tie.
