Leicester City have signed Tottenham goalkeeper Ben Alnwick on a six-month loan deal. The England Under-21 international, who joined Spurs from Sunderland in January 2007, could make his debut in the weekend game against Coventry.
"It's a massive club," the 21-year-old told BBC Radio Leicester. "The manager has signed some good players and hopefully we can get up the table.
"I need to settle in and I just want to get games under my belt."
Boss Ian Holloway added: "Ben is a very good goalkeeper. We have been keeping an eye on his progress and I am delighted to bring him here."
