Alnwick is still awaiting his first competitive game for Tottenham |
Tottenham have recalled England Under-21 international goalkeeper Ben Alnwick from his loan spell at Luton. The former Sunderland stopper, 20, made four appearances during his stint with the League One side, but has now returned to White Hart Lane.
"Spurs have recalled Ben because the injury to Paul Robinson was worse than they first thought," Luton boss Kevin Blackwell told his club's website.
"So I'm trying to being another keeper in for competition with Dean Brill."
Blackwell recently allowed veteran keeper Marlon Beresford to join League One rivals Oldham on loan after they suffered a goalkeeping injury crisis.
