Leeds United striker Billy Paynter is hoping to forge a successful partnership with Luciano Becchio following his move from Swindon.
Paynter begins his three-year deal at Elland Road on 1 July after leaving Swindon on a free transfer.
He told BBC Radio Leeds: "If we strike up a good partnership and both score goals it'll be hard to keep us out.
"I know I'm not going to walk into the side. I've got to fight for my place which I'm looking forward to."
He said: "Trust me, the drive from Swindon to Leeds was a long one but it was an enjoyable one.
