Kilmarnock striker Allan Russell has been ruled out for up to six months following a training ground injury.
Russell suffered cruciate ligament damage during Thursday's training session and was seen by a specialist who confirmed the tissue damage.
"Allan doesn't look great, with his knee injury which he picked up after just coming back from flu," said Kilmarnock manager Jim Jefferies.
Russell sustained a similar injury last July and was sidelined for eight weeks.
