Former Macclesfield man Briscoe joined Harriers from Tamworth

Kidderminster Harriers defender Michael Briscoe has signed a one-year contract extension, keeping him at Aggborough until the end of the 2011/12 season.

The former Tamworth player, 27, joined Harriers on a free transfer last July.

"Michael has improved no end this season and has been a very influential part of the team," Harriers boss Steve Burr told BBC Hereford & Worcester.

"It's important he continues to work hard and keeps pushing on as I know there is still more to come from him."
