Mark Yates has taken Harriers to third in the Blue Square Premier
Kidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates says he needs goal-scorers all over the pitch and that they cannot just rely on the strikers.
Defender Martin Riley got his second goal in successive games to earn the Harriers their 1-0 win at Torquay on Sunday - and Yates wants more of that.
"It's important they keep chipping in with goals," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"We are a big side and we should get goals from set pieces and midfield."
Yates also revealed after the win at Plainmoor that he had warned his players not to start worrying too soon about this Saturday's FA Cup third round tie at Coventry (3 January, 1500 GMT).
"The big word for us today was focus and we did just that," said Yates. "I've told the players whatever happens at Coventry it will be a good day for the club and the players.
"If they are worried about next week then next week won't happen for them, and I told the players I would leave those out who didn't perform.
"Credit to the lads, we stuck at it, we worked really hard and put our bodies in the way of things and in the end you get results and performances, and end up coming out the other side bigger and stronger."
There will be commentary on the Harriers' FA Cup third round tie at Coventry on Saturday on BBC Hereford and Worcester.
