Mark Yates will change the Harriers line-up for the trip to Burton
Kidderminster Harriers manager Mark Yates says Tuesday night's Setanta Shield clash at Burton Albion is a game they could have done without.
Yates, whose team play Cambridge United on Saturday, told BBC Hereford and Worcester that it seems strange to have the game the week of a big FA Cup tie.
"I always thought the week leading up to FA Cup games was free," said Yates.
"There was an opinion that these games should be played earlier in the season. We've had weeks with no midweek game.
Yates added: "It's a bit of a funny one.
"To throw them in the week before the FA Cup is a bit strange but it's the same for everybody.
"I'll be making changes but I've got five, six or seven players who are desperate to come in and impress, so we're looking forward to it."
Harriers' FA Cup date with Cambridge is this Saturday (1500 GMT).
There will be live commentary from the Setanta Shield date with Burton at the Pirelli Stadium online (1945 GMT) at bbc.co.uk/herefordandworcester
