Mark Yates believes his players are better than their recent displays |
Kidderminster Harriers boss Mark Yates is looking for an improvement from his team in Tuesday night's home Setanta Shield clash with Rushden & Diamonds. Harriers have not won in their last five games in the Blue Square Premier.
But Yates said: "We've got to pick ourselves up and have a re-think of where we're going."
"The players are better than they are showing, but they've got to have more about them," he told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
Rushden go into Tuesday's game (2000 GMT) on the back of Saturday's 1-0 win at Altrincham, while Harriers were beaten at home by Salisbury.
The fifth round clash should have taken place three weeks ago, but was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
Meanwhile, Yates says he is hoping to extend the loan deals of both Luke Jones and Matthew Bailey, which expire at the end of the month.
