Marcus Law & Justin Edinburgh thrilled with FA Cup draw

Kettering boss Marcus Law and Rushden counterpart Justin Edinburgh are already keenly anticipating the two sides' FA Cup clash later this month.

The two Northamptonshire clubs will go head to head in the fourth qualifying round on Saturday week (23 October).

"It's a massive game for the fans," Law told BBC Radio Northampton.

Edinburgh added: "I know how much it means to be playing our local rivals and it's bigger than usual in that there could be league clubs to come."

The two sides met in the Blue Square Bet Premier earlier in the season, when Diamonds won 1-0.

"I was half expecting to get my former club Barwell Town," added Law.

Both Kettering and Rushden are in good form - the Poppies have won all three games under their new manager, while Diamonds are unbeaten in four and have climbed to sixth in the league.

"A new manager coming in revitalises the players," said Law.

"Everyone is fighting for a place, and I've got to give them all credit, because every single player is grafting."
