Kettering Town have signed former MK Dons, Cardiff, Torquay and St Johnstone midfielder Nick McKoy.
The 24-year-old started his career as a trainee at Wimbledon and most recently played for Sutton United in the Ryman Premier, leaving in January.
Poppies manager Marcus Law told BBC Radio Northampton: "[Coaches] Tommy Jaszczun and Paul Furlong have been impressed by Nick's attributes.
"He'll add a depth to our midfield that we haven't got at the moment."
McKoy also counts Potters Bar Town, Enfield Town and Grays Athletic amongst his former clubs.
