Kettering Town chairman Imraan Ladak is confident there will not be any crowd issues at the A-Line Arena for Saturday's local derby with Rushden.
A crowd of around 3,000 is expected for the Blue Square Premier match, which was changed to a 1200 BST kick-off time on police advice.
Ladak told BBC Radio Northampton: "It's not a problem at all.
"The police intelligence has come back that everything is going to be nice and calm [on Saturday]."
Both Northamptonshire clubs are unbeaten in the league so far this season.
Newly-promoted Kettering have drawn all three of their matches whilst Rushden have won two and drawn one.
BBC Radio Northampton will have commentary on the game on 104.2 and 103.6 FM and online.
