Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton says his side should have done better in Tuesday's 1-1 draw at home to Charlton.
"I'm upset and I know the players are. I know they've been giving me maximum effort," he told BBC Radio Suffolk.
"I want them to go and express themselves in the manner which I know they all possess, but at the moment it's just not happening."
An Owen Garvan free kick from 40 yards gave Ipswich the lead, but the visitors equalised late on through Nicky Bailey.
"We created enough opportunities to win a few games.
"Strikers are going to miss chances, but it's important that we defend properly as a team and the goal was so poor, so sloppy," said Magilton.

"I vent my frustration in a very open and honest way. Sometimes it can be a little overbearing for the players."
Town have until the visit of QPR on Saturday to regain some of the confidence that saw them triumph over Plymouth last weekend.
