Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton has said more new signings are on the way
Goalkeeper Richard Wright has returned to Ipswich Town from West Ham for an undisclosed fee.
The 30-year-old former England international has signed a two-year contract with the option to extend the deal for a further 12 months.
Wright, who last played for Ipswich in 2001, joined Arsenal for 6m but failed to make an impact.
He spent five years at Everton before joining West Ham in 2007 and ended last season on loan at Southampton.
Wright said he still feels he can achieve more in football and hopes to do that at Portman Road.
He told BBC Radio Suffolk: "The last few years have not gone great for me so I've always been hungry and I've always wanted to play but the opportunities haven't come round for me as I would like.
"Now I'm back I'm delighted and am looking forward to having a really tough season and hopefully achieve things at this football club."
