Ipswich striker Jon Walters has signed a new contract which will keep him at Portman Road until 2011. The 24-year-old, who joined from Chester last January, has scored nine goals this season and been linked to a number of Premier League clubs.
"It's great news for Jon and great news for the club," Ipswich manager Jim Magilton told the club's website.
"He has been terrific for us this season and has shown great work ethic and determination."
