Magilton's in-form side are sixth in the Championship table

Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton is relishing the prospect of the club being taken over by Marcus Evans.

The proposed buy-out could result in Magilton being given a large amount of money to spend when the transfer window opens in January.

"It will give a huge boost to the whole area," said Magilton.

"It is important that if and when we get the money we spend it wisely and get the right characters in the building," he added.
