Ipswich Town have completed the signing of Cork City midfielder George O'Callaghan for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old has been training with the Suffolk club for the past four months and has now put pen to paper on a deal until the summer of 2008.
O'Callaghan began his career at Port Vale, making 34 league appearances before returning to his native Ireland to join Cork in 2002.
He was the Eircom League's player of the year as they won the title in 2005.
