Cork City midfielder George O'Callaghan is to spend a second week training with Championship side Ipswich. O'Callaghan, 27, previously played for Port Vale for four seasons after joining them as a teenager, scoring four goals in 34 league appearances.
He returned to his native Ireland in 2002 and has since played for Cork in the Eircom League.
"George has done well. He'll stay next week, we'll take it from there," boss Jim Magilton told Ipswich's website.
