Macken could earn permanent move
Ipswich Town
Ipswich boss Jim Magilton has laid down the gauntlet to loan signing Jon Macken during his loan spell at Portman Road.

The 29-year-old joined on a three-month loan from Crystal Palace just before the transfer window closed.

"The three months give us an opportunity to look at him," Magilton told his club's website.

"Palace have not seen the best of him, but if he produces the goods for us, there is a chance it could become a permanent deal."
