Hull City manager Phil Brown has rubbished newspaper talk that the club are tracking Ivory Coast international Aruna Dindane.
The 28-year-old striker currently plays for Racing Club Lens in France but Brown has put all the speculation down to the player's agent.
He told BBC Radio Humberside: "There's an agent phoning people up saying we are heading the list on interest.
"But no, I can say we have no interest in the player whatsoever."
Meanwhile, Brown will focus all his efforts on building the first-team squad at the KC Stadium when the transfer window re-opens on 1 January despite acknowledging the need to bring in some young players.
"The business end is the first team and to bring players in from other football clubs at 17, 18, or 19 years of age is still going to cost a lot of money.
"The academy is going to be an important part of Hull City and hopefully we can get it up and running as soon as possible."
