Hull have signed Liverpool midfielder John Welsh on a season-long loan, reports BBC Radio Humberside. The 21-year-old made seven appearances for the Reds last season - and won three of his four England Under-21 caps under Tigers boss Peter Taylor.
"I'm delighted to have him here for the season," Taylor said.
"I've made him captain of the Under-21s on a couple of occasions because I've every faith in him as a player and a person. He's a very solid character."
