Clark's side are eight points off the League One play-off positions
Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark said he was not sure if his side should have been awarded a winning goal in Tuesday's 1-1 draw at MK Dons.
Michael Flynn's shot was deflected onto the post with the travelling fans claiming it had crossed the line.
But Clark told BBC Radio Leeds: "Before I see the DVD I wouldn't like to say yes or no.
"But everything I'm hearing from people who watched from different parts of the ground say it was over the line."
Clark added: "If it is then it basically sums up our last 10 days but I told the players before we got to the stadium that we don't feel sorry for ourselves.
"We've had a terrific opportunity tonight and I wouldn't have thought many people outside our dressing room expected us to get any sort of positive result, but we certainly did.
"I know I've got a good group of players and that little bit of luck is just deserting us at the minute.
"That'll turn round and hopefully in the remaining ten games things will even themselves out and we'll get a little bit of fortune when we don't deserve it."
After conceding injury-time goals in their previous three games, Clark had been looking for an improved performance and felt he got it from his players.
"I just said to the players that was probably the best performance from start to finish since I've been in charge.
"We stuck to our game plan, we knew it was going to be tough - they're a good side and they create lots of chances, but we limited their chances I thought.
"We worked hard without the ball but when we had the ball we passed it well again and created some chances."
