Terriers boss will look at squad

Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark insists he will give everyone in his squad the chance to prove themselves.

The likes of experienced duo David Unsworth and Chris Lucketti have yet to feature under Clark since he took over at the start of December.

"They all have a part to play and they've shown great attitude," Clark told BBC Radio Leeds.

"They are working hard and the response from every player, whether they are playing or not, has been excellent."

Unsworth and Lucketti were brought in during the summer by former manager Stan Ternent, who was sacked in November. And both players' future at the club appeared to be in doubt.

Lucketti, who had been made captain by Ternent, has not featured since his sending off at Peterborough in October. And Unsworth has only managed five appearances this season.

But Clark said: "I can only pick 16 players, that's the problem.

"The whole squad are pushing for starts. The guys that aren't playing are pushing me every day, not by coming into the office and seeing me and complaining, but by working hard and doing it on the training pitch.

"I'm sure those guys will take their chance when they get a game."
