Ternent understands the fans' frustration following the draw
Huddersfield Town manager Stan Ternent believes Saturday's 1-1 draw against Bristol Rovers was a "fair result".
"I thought it was a decent game - we set off particularly well in the first 20 minutes although we lost our way a bit before half-time.
"We had an opportunity to get a second goal which we might have needed and I thought we gave a poor goal away.
"I think all in all it's probably a fairish result," former Burnley boss Ternent told BBC Radio Leeds.
I think the fans felt perhaps we should have won the game, but we didn't - but we didn't lose it, which is important

The result leaves Huddersfield 16th in the League One table, and Ternent sympathised with the reaction of some of the home fans at the final whistle.
"I think that the expectation level has been high after the way the players have been going since the Northampton game - we've only lost one league game - and that's the national pastime now.
"I think there were occasions when we could have crossed the ball and didn't, and one or two other things that added to the frustration and I think the fans felt perhaps we should have won the game, but we didn't - but we didn't lose it, which is important.
"We could have gone route one if we wanted, but whether we went route one, or sideways, or diagonally, if we didn't get the goal then that's the normal reaction borne out of frustration from the fans, and we understand that."
