Veteran Unsworth left Burnley at the end of last season

Huddersfield Town manager Stan Ternent will make up his mind on his current trialists within the next few days.

Former Everton pair David Unsworth and Paul Gerrard are training at the Galpharm Stadium, trying to earn contracts with the League One club.

Both played in Wednesday's behind-closed-doors friendly with Accrington and are expected to face their former club Sheffield United on Saturday.

However, Ternent has decided not to sign fellow trialist Tony Grant.
