Page won 41 caps before calling time on his Welsh career |
Huddersfield Town have signed Coventry City defender Robert Page, after the Sky Blues cancelled the remainder of his contract at the Ricoh Arena. The former Wales international, 33, has put pen to paper on a deal running until the end of the season.
"He's been captain of Wales and will give us a great sense of leadership," boss Andy Ritchie told Town's website.
"Frank Sinclair excluded, we have a very young back line and it's important to have a couple of older heads."

Page joined Coventry from Cardiff City in February 2005, but has not played a league game for Coventry since April 2007, and has featured in just two Carling Cup ties this season. He retired from international football in September 2006 after winning 41 caps for his country.
"Robert has been a tremendous professional while with Coventry," Sky Blues boss Iain Dowie told his club's website.
"We both felt it was the right time in his career for Pagey to move, and I wish him all the best because he is a top bloke."
Huddersfield striker Lucas Akins, 18, has extended his loan spell at Northwich Victoria for a third month.
