Coventry's Robert Page and Michael Doyle have been omitted from the squad for the match against Luton after a training ground bust-up last week. The pair have not trained since the incident when club captain Page, 32, and vice-captain Doyle, 25, were both reportedly injured.
"Robert and Michael have had a few days off to clear their heads," said caretaker manager Adrian Heath.
"There will be disciplinary action and we'll be taking the appropriate steps."
Heath added: "It could be a sacking offence, it could not be. We will sit down with them over the next few days.
"Both players are pretty remorseful at the moment and they have been disappointed with what's happened, but we have had to get on with our work.
"You have periods that are a little bit testing and that's what this little period is at the moment.
"I have got the concentrate on the players and get them in the right frame of mind."
