Histon striker Omer Riza is set to be out for four to six weeks after tearing a hamstring in Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier victory over Altrincham.
The 31-year-old is on non-contract terms with the Stutes but boss David Livermore is confident the front man will stay at the Glass World Stadium.
He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "He can't exactly go and play for anyone else while he's injured.
"He's fine, he's going to concentrate on getting himself fit now."
Riza has scored three goals in eight starts for Histon since arriving in the summer.
