Mills has joined Histon on a season long loan from Peterborough United
Histon's on-loan winger Danny Mills has said that scoring his first goal for the Blue Square Bet Premier club was extra-special for him.
Mills, who joined the Stutes from Peterborough United, came off the bench to net in the 3-0 win over Altrincham.
He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "It's always great to get your first goal at a new club.
"In fact, it's the first goal of my first-team career and everyone can see how much it meant to me."
The Stutes have endured a tricky start to the new season with manager John Beck leaving the club in August after just two matches at the helm.
Mills arrived at the Glass World alongside Posh team-mate Romone McCrae and both players have remained heavily involved under new boss David Livermore.
"The ball just came from the half-way line, I won it and cut in on my right like Thierry Henry, he's my idol," Mills said.
After five straight defeats, the Stutes' have taken seven points from a possible nine thanks to a change in formation which has seen them switch to playing with a loan striker.
As a result of this change in tactics, Mills has been used from the bench in recent matches, but he is staying positive.
"Starting the first 12 games of the season and then dropping out is a bit demoralising and I've spoken to the manager about that, but it's all tactical," he said.
"I'm not going to get worried about it because we maybe needed to put five in midfield and try something different."
