Histon have signed defender Danny Fitzsimons from Championship side QPR on an initial one-month loan deal.
The Republic of Ireland Under-18 player signed in time to feature in Saturday's 4-0 Blue Square Bet Premier defeat by Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground.
Fitzsimons joined QPR after being released by Millwall in the summer.
Histon boss David Livermore told the club website: "Danny is a promising youngster who has all the attributes of a very effective defender."
