Newport County moved up into the play-off places with a smash-and-grab win at Cambridge United.
The visitors took the lead after just three minutes when Jamie Collins got the final touch to a wicked in-swinging free-kick from Danny Rose.
Wayne Gray should have equalised for Cambridge just after half-time but dragged his shot wide with just Glynn Thompson to beat in the County goal.
Cambridge bombarded the Newport goal after that but the visitors held firm.
