Histon boss Steve Fallon has admitted the postponement of Saturday's match with Wrexham is not ideal, but that his side will take it all in their stride.

In a first for the Blue Square Premier, the match was postponed after the Dragons had five players called up for international duty.

Fallon told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "We're on a little bit of a roll, but to be fair so are Wrexham.

"We just need to get on with it and prepare ourselves for Crawley."

Histon are up to third in the Blue Square Premier having won their last two matches, and whilst Fallon would prefer his side to have a match this weekend, he appreciates Wrexham's position.

"I've got no problems with it, I think every club would look to use the rules to their advantage," Fallon said.

"My understanding is that they had an agreement that if they had four players called up then they would be allowed to cancel the game."

In better news for Stutes fans, striker Danny Wright should be ready for a full return to action in the Crawley game.

"Hopefully Danny will be ready to push for a place next weekend," Fallon said.

"Danny is one that does lose his fitness quite quickly, so he's going to have to work hard."

Meanwhile, Fallon has revealed midfielder Adie Cambridge will spend another month on loan with Cambridge City.

The 34-year-old, who turned down a move to Cambridge United in the summer, has fallen out of favour at the Glass World Stadium following the arrival of Josh Simpson.
