Histon have landed their first summer transfer target, with striker Damien Reeves joining on a free transfer.
Reeves, 22, arrives at the club on the back of a impressive season with Farsley Celtic.
The former Leeds man scored 20 times last season as Farsley were relegated from the Blue Square Premier.
Histon boss Steve Fallon told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "He's a proven goalscorer and they're always very, very hard to come by."
Reeves is a product of the Leeds United academy and impressed Fallon with his performances against the Stutes last season.
"Whenever we've played against him, he's caused us lots of problems," Fallon said.
"He's got lots of attributes that you look for in a striker."
Fallon believes his new man has the potential to get back into the professional game and has challenged him to win a big move in a few seasons time.
"Strikers do fetch a lot money - if you score goals in this league the people will take a chance on you," he said.
"That's what we're looking for, we want the players to do really well here and make it impossible for us to hold onto them."
