Histon boss Steve Fallon said he will be working on ways to improve his side's fitness for their second season in the Blue Square Premier.
The Stutes' play-off hopes hang by a thread after Tuesday's 1-1 draw with a resurgent Northwich Victoria.
Fallon said: "We're part time and we do tire towards the end of games and we've got to sort it out for next year.
"We've got four games left so we'll train on Friday and if we win all four we'll see where we finish."
If we can finish with a flurry then that will set us off for a nice summer holiday

The Stutes have drawn their last four matches and are unbeaten in six but are six points away from the play-off places having played two more matches than Cambridge United in fifth.
Fallon said: "We've been in with a chance [of reaching the play-offs] but that's slipped us by now.
"If we can finish with a flurry then that will set us off for a nice summer holiday and we can come back to progress next season," he added.
Fallon also said he has identified two or three players he wants to strengthen his squad.
"There's still a long way to go with negotiations and finance but hopefully we can get these players and push on next year."
