Joel Byrom's 25-yard strike rescued a point for Northwich at Histon.
Byrom found the top corner to snatch a draw late on after the home side had dominated the second half.
The Vics were the better side before the break, Michael Bryne drawing a fine save from Danny Naisbitt and Michael Welsh heading against the crossbar.
The hosts took the lead in the second half when Daniel Wright set up Antonio Murray to crack the ball home from six yards following sustained pressure.
